Speaker 1 00:00:12 Welcome to the daily. W Caserio with a few things you need to know today. It's 9:00 AM central on Thursday, February 10th. And I press conference yesterday, Illinois, governor JB Pritzker announced that he aims to end the state's indoor mass mandate. By the end of February, governor Pritzker cited a threefold decrease in COVID hospitalizations across the state. Since the peak of the Alma Cron surge in January, the plan to lift the mask mandate does not affect schools, hospitals, and nursing homes, which will continue to be subject to masking requirements. Local jurisdictions and businesses may continue to apply a strict or masking rules in the state. The decision by governor Pritzker to lift the state indoor mask mandate.
