NU Field Hockey claim National title, Cats play at Wrigley Field, new SCOTUS decisions, and Austria in lockdown

Speaker 0 00:00:01 Good morning and welcome to the daily cat WMUR daily news brief. I'm your host, Angelina Campania with a few things you need to know today. It's 9:00 AM central on Monday, November 22nd. Northwestern university's field hockey team won the national championships yesterday. For the first time, the wild cats defeated Liberty university two zero achieving end-use first national title in a decade. The teams entered half-time zero, zero, but the cats pulled through in the third quarter. Unfortunately, the football team did not share the same fate this weekend. The cats hosted Purdue Saturday at Wrigley field. They had students on their feet during the first half going toe to toe with Purdue, but the boiler makers took the lead in the third quarter and ultimately beat Northwestern 32 to 14. The United States Supreme court could rule. As soon as today on Texas, his heartbeat act, the court's website Friday released the justices are planning to issue at least one opinion today.

Given the cases fast track through the courts, Austria has gone into a nationwide lockdown and attempts to mitigate skyrocketing Corona virus infections. The lockdown starting today is expected to last for at least 20 days, but will be reevaluated after 10 chancellor Alexander Shallenberger announced that Austria will mandate COVID vaccine starting February.
