Speaker 0 00:00:00 Good morning. We're listening to the daily time. Your morning news brief from w news. I'm your host. PABA it's 9:00 AM central on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022. Here are the headlines to start your day. Northwestern has partnered with timely MD to offer students free virtual mental health support through the new pro which students can access through the email sent out from VP for student affairs, Julie Payne, K Meer students will be able to schedule appointments with a licensed counselor message, a professional, any time, any day, schedule an appointment with a health coach and attend group sessions. Timely MD services will be offered. In addition to this current services provide by counseling and psychological services or caps, which have been highly criticized. Northlake theater is returning to Evanston after 25 years in Skokie, the theater, which was founded by a Northwestern professor in Evanston in 1974, I moved to Skokie in 1997 was approved by Evanston city council to move back three years ago, recently, after encouragement from re Evanston residents, city council allocated 2 million money from the American rescue found to facilitate north light's move. Governor JB Pritzker announced this comes one day after a federal judge overturned the national mask mandate on public transportation. Local governments can maintain their mandates, but according to a spokesperson for mayor Lori Lightfoot passengers do not need to wear masks on the CTA or in either of the Chicago airports residents of Shanghai, continue to struggle with a lack of resources as they through their third week of what was supposed to be a five day lockdown residents, none of whom are allowed to leave their homes report, not having enough food or access to medicine.
