Speaker 1 00:00:05 Good morning and welcome to the daily cat w and URS daily news brief. I'm your host Justine Fisher with a few things you need to know today. It's 9:00 AM central on Thursday, November 18th, with concerns over a likely rise in COVID cases due to Thanksgiving travel and IU health professionals advise maintaining precautions, especially around high risk individuals in the search for the next Charles Deering McCormick university librarian. The search committee seeks input from the community on relevant qualities and experiences. While temperatures were mild yesterday, a cold front moving into Evanston, predicts a drop into the forties for today. The case of a group of nurses being banned from their jobs at the north shore university health system for not receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, went before a federal judge yesterday because they claimed a religious discrimination. A ruling is expected in the next few days, suburban Chicago mayor pleads guilty to accepting a bribe from a red light camera company. Speaker 1 00:01:08 Biden's trillion dollar infrastructure bill could help with changes in Chicago, such as the extension of the red line and the replacement of lead service lines. According to mayor Lightfoot, the Biden administration plans to make billions of dollars available for domestic drug makers to increase production of the COVID-19 vaccine. This is in an effort to increase global COVID vaccine capacity and prepare for the next pandemic. The house voted yesterday to send your representative Paul Gosar, as a result of his recent post of an animated video that showed him violently killing representative Alexandria, Ocasio, Cortez, with a sword that's all for today's daily cat live from WMUR news. I'm Justine Fisher. See you tomorrow.
