It's 9:00 AM central on Thursday, January 27th. Northwestern school of education and social policy will be experiencing a major administrative change coming this spring. Current Saxby Dean David Filio confirmed plans to retire from his position on May 15th in order to take on the mantle of provost at university of Rochester, Cesspe professor Dan McAdams has been chosen to fill this position in the meantime, and will be serving as interim Dean starting May 16th, Evanston mayor Daniel Biss announced plans to promote and enforce more eco-friendly building standards yesterday. The plan to promote more innovative and environment conscious building construction and regulation should put Evanston on track to meet the goals of their climate action and resilience plan, which includes cutting down building energy consumption to 65% of 2005 levels by 2035 to dramatically reduce carbon emissions, a quick content warning coming up. This story deals with sexual assault. Speaker 1 00:01:47 The Chicago park district came out with 40 allegations related to sexual assault, harassment, hazing, and other kinds of misconduct in their annual report for 2021 released yesterday. This is not the first time the park district has faced such accusations. As former CEO, Mike Kelly was forced resigned this past October due to similar allegations. The following investigation into these claims has resulted in the firing and resignation of 15 employees. So far Supreme court justice, Stephen Brier announced plans to retire yesterday. Leaving president Biden responsible for the nomination of a new justice. Well, this will not alter the conservative majority.
